'Revolutions' marks the final chapter in Paul Smith’s triptych, following 'Reflections' (2019) and 'Renewal?' (2022). This album turns its gaze outward, reflecting on our place in the world and the questions shaping our future. In 2025, amid uncertainty and upheaval, it draws on voices of the past – echoes of hope, kindness, and love.

Each choral work on this album is paired with an instrumental counterpart – connected, interwoven, and offering different perspectives on a theme. In an age of upheaval, these pieces invite us to pause, to breathe, to hold onto the truths that endure. Together, in a place of safety and warmth, love and community, we can exist in peace. Who among us, when held to the light, would turn down that opportunity? In the darkness, let us not lose sight of it.
