The newly formed London-based choir Meridian makes its debut in a special performance for LIVE From London. Led by conductor and founder Irene Messoloras, the ensemble is joined by soprano Grace Davidson and renowned composer and pianist Ola Gjeilo. The programme – a contemplative journey of prayers and meditations – features works by Stephen Paulus, Rihards Dubra, and Ola Gjeilo, also including the moving Prayer by Ukrainian composer Hanna Havrylets, the piece with which Meridian has become closely associated.
