The work is performed by the VOCES8 Foundation Choir & Orchestra under the direction of Barnaby Smith, bringing together Davis’ expansive choral writing, luminous orchestral textures, and a reimagined approach to the Requiem form that speaks inclusively to listeners of all faiths, or none.
