Summer 2026 - Concerts
LIVE From London Summer returned with another festival of live-filmed concerts seeking to inspire and unite through music, collaboration, and shared stories.
Host ensemble VOCES8 celebrated with Swedish a cappella quartet the Ringmasters, in a vibrant and virtuosic celebration of harmony and singing at its most extraordinary, launching their new album ‘Shall we Gather’. VOCES8’s solo concert showcased the group’s favourite repertoire exemplifying the breadth, artistry and versatility that have made the group one of the world's most celebrated vocal ensembles. We joined APOLLO5 for a fun, frivolous evening of secular a cappella delights, from Renaissance madrigals to fresh contemporary works, with generous helpings of folk, pop and jazz. ‘Legacy of a Genius’ brought together VOCES8, APOLLO5 and VOCES8 Scholars UK for a chamber performance of motets by Bach and Bruckner, filmed in the picturesque setting of Milton Abbey, Dorset.
Acclaimed violinist Jack Liebeck returned, joined by pianist Olga Zado, for a captivating journey through more than a century of film music, from Saint-Saëns to Shostakovich. Patrick Ayrton's enchanting Astrophil & Stella brought Shakespearean poetry and English musical traditions to life, whilst Paula Sides and Sergey Rybin explored love and transience through the song worlds of Berg, Korngold, Ullmann and Strauss. LIVE From London favourites I Fagiolini, began the group’s 40th anniversary with ‘Music’s El Greco’ - a celebration of the sublime sacred music of Tomás Luis de Victoria.
LIVE From London welcomed you to its inspiring new summer collection of performances from across the musical world. At the heart of the Festival lay a simple invitation, ‘shall we gather’?
